Where I Come From
I believe the world is held together by love and compassion. As an animist, I embody an ethic of kindness and regard for the sacredness of life.
As a Black woman living in the U.S. and with all the turbulent racial hatred past and present, I decided to begin the journey to heal my ancestral trauma and transform the pain of my Mother’s people and my Father’s people. My people whose names were never written down and have been long forgotten through time and space. My personal healing work is in celebration and honor as I am loved by my ancestors of blood and bone – I am their living dream.
I recognize that I learn, coach, work and live on the ancestral homelands of the Coast Salish people, the land which touches the shared waters of all tribes and bands within the Duwamish, Suquamish, Tulalip, and Muckleshoot nations. These lands were forcibly taken. I have a responsibility to acknowledge the Indigenous connections, as well as, histories of dispossession and forced removal that has allowed for the growth and survival of the city of Seattle, WA, USA.

I grew up watching a living and breathing Goddess when I didn’t see anyone else look like me on TV. Thank you for showing this sacred rebel she too is at home amongst the stars.
Live long and prosper 🖖🏾 I am forever grateful
